Surabaya Rugby, the first ever rugby club in Surabaya, was established in June by 5 men. Taking part in making the first ever rugby coaching clinic on 5 June 2011. Surabaya Rugby was built to tell Surabaya people that they don't need a big body to play the game, they only need a brave heart to stand in a game and be a gentleman. The logo represents 2 legendary creature that is used in the name of the city, Sura and Baya inside the rugby ball. That means 2 teams that will bravely play the ball and represent scrummage that needs a great teamwork to keep it strong and unbreakable.
