2011 Rugby World Cup Action on TV

The 2011 Rugby World Cup (RWC) kicked off on Friday September at Eden Park, Auckland, when the home town favourites for the 2011 title (and every title since 1987), the NZ All Blacks played their Pacific neighbours Tonga in the first match of a 48-match tournament that culminates in the Final on Sunday October 23. The first weekend of competition saw several minnow nations such as Japan and Romania push their more fancied rivals, setting the tone for a more even RWC than in previous years. There are sure to be some major upsets along the way given the results thus far.

Rugby diehards keen to watch all the RWC action live and in comfort should head along to ‘Fez by Aphrodite’ in Kemang or ‘Aphrodite’ in Klub Rasuna, where they can watch most of the games, especially all the major pool matches and Finals on large, flat-screen TVs, whilst being served all their favourite liquid refreshments and fantastic meals by Fred and his wonderful team. There will also be several competitions with prizes to be won been provided during the duration of the RWC by these two premises and Indonesian Rugby.

For all those interested in the RWC match times (please remember that there is a 5 hour time difference between Jakarta and NZ; 6 hours from September 25 onwards) please go to - www.rugbyworldcup.com - or get along to the Home of Indonesian Rugby, ‘Fez by Aphrodite’ and also ‘Aphrodite’ to cheer on your nation to Rugby World Cup glory in 2011.
